Tips to Keep Your Eyes Healthy

Eyes are the one of the most important part of our body. It would be really hard for us to do something if we don't have eyes. It is really important to keep our eyes healthy. Nowadays, it's hard to keep our eyes healthy. Because we have to sit in front of the computer for an hours that can hurt our eyes. Not only adults, we also often to see a lot of kids wearing glasses. This is because the improvements of technology. Kids would rather to play on the computer or play video games for an hours rather than being physically active.
Here are tips to keep your eyes healthy :

1. Check Your Eyes Every 12 Months
It is very important to you to get your eyes checked every 12 months. Because, you will be able to know what is going on with your eyes.It is not recommended just for those who wear glasses, but it is recommended for everyone. Sometimes people don't know that they can look better at something using glasses than not using glasses. Before your eyes get worse, get your eyes checked.

2. Using Sunglasses
It is recommended for you to wear sunglasses when the sun is too bright. Too much UV from sun can make serious injury to your eyes. Wearing sunglasses that designed to protect your eyes from UV lights can help you out this problem. Good sunglasses can reflect the UV lights until 98%. It is also prevent your eyes from cataracts.

3. Choose the Best Quality Contact Lenses.
Choose contact lenses that fit with your eye. Maybe some of us think that every contact lenses are the same. But, they are not. Some of them can help your eyes, and some of them can hurt your eyes. It is also important to keep the cleanliness of the contact lenses, and change your contact lenses when they are expired.

4. Nutrition For Your Eyes
Make sure your eyes get enough nutrition everyday. Eat foods that contain antioxidants and vitamin A. Colorful vegetables and fruits contain antioxidants. Antioxidants can protect and improve your eyes cell and your body from free radicals. As we know, carrots contain a big amount of vitamin A. Vitamin A can produce rhodopsin. that can help your eyes to see in poor lights condition. Lack of vitamin A can cause night  blindness.

5. Use Enough Light
Working in poor lights condition is not good for your eyes. It can make our eyes work harder than they have to. But, too much lights is also not good for your eyes. So, make sure you use enough light when you are reading, playing computer, or something else that need eyes to work.

6. Eyes Need Health Break
Eyes are the same with your body, they need a break. Don't push your eyes too hard to work. Try to not playing computer or reading a book for a long time, if you don't have to. People say that they feel their eyes  tired after they playing computer for a long time. It's because you only blink 25% less than you usually do when you are playing computer, which cause eye dryness. Give your eyes health break is so important.
